A contemporary brasserie
On the ground floor, La Griotte, contemporary brasserie, is a new offering by Éric Delerue, who serves an inventive version of neighborhood bistro cuisine. With a 70− person seating capacity and a vast space opening on to the kitchen where the team can be seen cooking, this new dining spot keeps conviviality at its heart. Grey granite stones on the floor, round tables with massive oak tops and airy feet, giving meals a feeling of refined authenticity, ceramic light hangings and simple crockery – the decoration is discreet so as to let the cooks roam freely. Open every day for lunch and dinner, La Griotte is a hospitable restaurant which welcomes friendly and family reunions, work meetings, professional chats between collaborators and more intimate moments for couples or solo diners.
“The idea is to offer beautiful fresh products at affordable prices […] And well trimmed vegetables, well presented, cooked with accuracy. […] We will prepare simple and good products, perfectly prepared. There will be a few local beers sorted on the shutter […] We are lucky to start with one of the most beautiful wine cellars of Lille, which will be common to La Griotte and Le Cerisier in the city, we have in particular Pétrus and Haut-Brion. »
